The TK is the most iconic tie in Japanese rope bondage, but safety concerns and a complex pattern make it inaccessible to many people. This class will teach a 2-rope TK suitable for play on the ground, safety information, and theory on how the tie functions. We will also explore exercises on rope-handling and partner interaction to make your tying more fluid and connective.

Requirements:

  • People tying must be proficient at a single-column tie.
  • People being tied must be able to maintain a position with wrists crossed behind their backs for up to 30 minutes.
  • Each tying pair should bring at least 3 lengths of 25-30ft rope.
  • If you have questions about any of these requirements, please message @Provocations on Fetlife
