What happens after someone’s consent is broken/violated? How do you support the person harmed? The person accused of harm? How do you even begin to work with something this emotional, complex, and charged? The answer is to engage an Accountability Process. This workshop provides an introduction: what it is, how it works, and why it works. We’ll look at what a supportive and compassionate managing of a consent incident can be and what happens after. If you’re ever going to deal with consent as a leader, which is almost inevitable, take this class.

About the Consent Academy:

The Consent Academy is an educational collective based out of Seattle, WA. With over 60 years of education experience collectively, our approach incorporates disciplines of psychology, sociology, public health, psychotherapy, and personal coaching to create a systemic view of how consent impacts everyone from the bedroom to the boardroom. We believe consent is a part of everyday life, and its practice builds stronger, safer, and more connected communities.
