Sensual yoga is closest to gentle or yin yoga for our asanas/poses, but we’ll add a sensual layer on top in how we guide ourselves to connect to our body.  This class is welcome to those who have never done yoga before as our asanas/poses will either be beginner or have beginner-friendly variations and for experienced yogis who would like to explore your practice through this new lens.

Please bring a water bottle, yoga mat, and pillow; blocks optional.

A note on clothing: anything you feel good and confident moving in, whether that’s typical yoga/workout wear to lingerie).

A note on yoga:  Yoga is an ancient spiritual practice originating in the Indian subcontinent and means ‘to yoke’ or to bring together the body, mind, and spirit.  When offering and practicing, we acknowledge we are interpreting and changing this practice from our Western perspective.  Out of respect of this origin, educator payment will be donated to Bharati Yogadhama, an Indian organization dedicated to preserving Indian culture, knowledge, and sciences.
