Saturday Shenanigans is a new monthly event at Gallery Erato that showcases live performances and visual art that celebrate the juiciness of being human. Our bar will be open and lots of seating will be available. To start out, each month with have a different theme and structure while we find our rhythm. Sometimes, Saturday Shenanigans will have an open mic structure to be a place where a creative community can come together to support each other in their growth. After the show, we hope you will hang out with us and each other.
Other times, we will partner with troupes, organizations, and groups to put on a specific show, like this August 1st when we partner with Mockingbird Comedy for “The Naughty Bits: A Comedy Show”. They have invited their comedians to bring their juicy, sex positive material to Gallery Erato where it will be appreciated and enjoyed! This 80 minute show will be a ticketed event when doors open at 7pm for $25/advance and $25/door.
A note about the Gallery Erato Bar: This event is 18+ and you must be 21+ with a valid government ID to be served alcohol. Wine, beer, cocktails, and NA spirits and beverages are available for sale. All bar sales directly support SEAF and other Pan Eros Foundation art programs.
We are looking to feature different styles of performance art and are encouraging individuals and groups to submita proposal. We are looking for unusual and unique performances and will be prioritizing subject matter that delves into the nuances of sexuality and gender while celebrating our differences. If you would like to put in a performance proposal, you can do so here. We are looking for performers to be a part of group shows as well as for co-producers to partner with us.
