Genea Morrow is a self-taught artist and creative entrepreneur residing in Seattle. Her interest in art began in 2012 but veered in the direction of modeling and photography; it came full circle in a figure drawing class in 2017. She then took the time to fall in love with creating shapes out of shadow work using charcoal as her medium. It wasn’t until 2021 that she started to play in paint. Genea began a fulfilling career co-owning a children’s educational toy store, J.I.L.L.’s Toyshop, and launching Black Omi Art Co. Though her journey wasn’t always easy, she often opens up about her struggles with imposter syndrome and how she continuously works on her insecurities surrounding her late start to paint. She now creates paintings that tell her story, a story heavily influenced by her history with religion and spirituality, overshadowed by her exploration of her sensuality. Her work is centered around creating the feeling of familiarity, power, and freedom. To highlight the internal battles of feminine and masculine energies women may feel.

May 11 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
SOLD OUT - Bondage for Beginners @ Gallery Erato
Interested in adding some bondage to your life but not sure where to start? This fun and accessible introductory class will introduce you to the basics of kink and rope bondage. By the time you’re done you’ll have all the skills you need to safely and confidently start exploring bondage on your own. This is a bondage class rather than a knots class, so our focus is on teaching a small number of versatile techniques that you can use in all kinds of ways. All the ties in the class are easy to learn and can be used for many different play styles. The point of bondage is to connect with your partner, so we’ll also cover fundamental kink concepts like consent, safewords, negotiation, and aftercare. To help you put it all together, we’ll have fun demos of the techniques in action, along with suggestions for how to figure out what kind of kink works best for you. Single students are welcome, but this class is most fun if you take it with a partner. We’ll provide practice rope if you don’t have your own. The 38 page color handout includes all the class material as well as additional ties to practice at home. Purchase tickets here!   COVID Protocols: Masks will be optional for this class. Our fabulous rope practice and discussion group for men and folks who have lived experience as men continues its wonderful run at Gallery Erato in Seattle, facilitated in the loosest way possible by @visiblerestraint. You can use it to enhance arousal and intimacy, do bondage without restraints, create ideal headspaces for all kinds of play, build mindf*ck scenes, strengthen Dom/sub training, increase relaxation for sensual scenes, and much more. You can use hypnotic storytelling to bridge the fantasy gap between what you are willing to do in real life and the hidden depths that lie in your internet browser history. Doors open for the Hypnokink Enthusiasts’ Group at 1pm, and we start our programming at 1:15pm with introductions and a very quick introductory review of the terms and principles of hypnosis before we head into meatier topics. Sensual Yoga 7:00 pm
Sensual Yoga @ Gallery Erato
May 22 @ 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm
Sensual Yoga @ Gallery Erato
Sensual yoga is closest to gentle or yin yoga for our asanas/poses, but we’ll add a sensual layer on top in how we guide ourselves to connect to our body.  This class is welcome to those who have never done yoga before as our asanas/poses will either be beginner or have beginner-friendly variations and for experienced yogis who would like to explore your practice through this new lens. Please bring a water bottle, yoga mat, and pillow; blocks optional. A note on clothing: anything you feel good and confident moving in, whether that’s typical yoga/workout wear to lingerie). A note on yoga:  Yoga is an ancient spiritual practice originating in the Indian subcontinent and means ‘to yoke’ or to bring together the body, mind, and spirit.  When offering and practicing, we acknowledge we are interpreting and changing this practice from our Western perspective.  Out of respect of this origin, educator payment will be donated to Bharati Yogadhama, an Indian organization dedicated to preserving Indian culture, knowledge, and sciences.   Purchase tickets here!   Important Information: Pay-what-you-can scholarships are available for all Pan Eros Foundation workshops. If you need financial assistance, please email Leah at [email protected] No late entry will be allowed due to the intimate nature of this workshop. Doors will be locked at 10 minutes after the start time. Water available. Please bring your own cup or bottle. Open to all 18+ Attendance is limited to 20 pairs. A Casual Introduction to Erotic Hypnosis @ Gallery Erato
May 25 @ 11:30 am – 4:00 pm
A Casual Introduction to Erotic Hypnosis @ Gallery Erato
Erotic hypnosis is a marvelous engine for intimacy and erotic imagineering. Hypnotic trance state is a delicious altered state all by itself, but when we stir in suggestion and storytelling we uncover an internal universe that seems limitless. This class will serve as a guide through the first steps in your erotic hypnosis journey and will cover the myriad consent issues, safety, hypnotic induction and will begin to cover applications of hypnosis to our erotic lives. Daniel and Ben have crafted this class to be a blend of theory and practice. There will be a small bit of group work (so come prepared to take a little trip into a trance-y headspace), but mostly the practical exercises will be paired.  Optimally, you’ll bring a partner to this event.  If not, we will do our best to make sure everybody is paired with someone. Purchase tickets here! Important information: No late entry will be allowed due to the intimate nature of this workshop. Doors will be locked at 10 minutes after the start time. Water available. Please bring your own cup or bottle. Open to all 18+ Attendance is limited to 24 people. All sexes, genders, races, ethnicities, bodies, body types, sexual orientations, relationship orientations, abilities welcome and celebrated. Trance Pacific is currently seeking members for its board of directors. Daniel lives in Tacoma with their husband Craig – and is partnered to Ben, also of Tacoma, who contributes considerably to this class.

Seattle Nude, Erotic + Boudoir Photography Group 5:00 pm
Seattle Nude, Erotic + Boudoir Photography Group @ Gallery Erato
May 26 @ 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Monthly Open-Shoot Meetup 4th Sunday of every month Overview Seattle Nude, Erotic + Boudoir Photography Group exists to facilitate networking and the creation of art in the PNW photography and modeling communities while providing a safer, semi-public space to have first or repeated interactions with co-creators. Beginning January 23rd, 2022 the group organizer, Thrice, will be running a monthly meetup where we discuss and shoot nude, erotic, and boudoir photos, share knowledge and inspiration, and network with others in our creative communities. What to Expect After an initial hour of mingling and conspiring, all the fun and excitement of creation starts when we close the doors at 6pm. Come introduce yourself, mingle and meet, then we will collect the event fee and shooting can begin. At this point, no more attendees will be admitted so no new faces surprise you while you’re shooting. Some gear will be available to rent or borrow, we will go through the available supplies at the start of the event. Open Shoot Format Throughout the event, photographers, assistants, and models will use the large, versatile shooting space to collaborate, have fun, and make art. Come with an idea in mind and a photographer in tow or meet someone here and come up with a spontaneous shoot inspired by the surroundings and your model’s style. Bring all your own gear, ready to shoot, and explore the space to find the perfect spot. Take advantage of any down time to connect with your fellow creatives, find inspiration, share your knowledge and experience. Consent + Consideration Make sure that you have the consent of all bodies in your frame before you shoot. Watch your backgrounds and try not to walk through active shooting space you’re not participating in as a courtesy to all. Lingerie, suggested nudity, and nonsexual nudity are welcome throughout the space. We ask that explicit or overtly sexual acts (use your judgement, ask if you’re not sure) be shot downstairs. We will continually evaluate the ways we use the space and adjust for the comfort and needs of our community to best facilitate free creation. No one is required to shoot with anyone else or to shoot any content they do not wish to participate in. Pressure is unacceptable, both photographers and models are expected to take “No” as a complete sentence any time it is given. Our Hosts + Facility Gallery Erato and the Pan Eros Foundation are pleased to offer those who create art that explores themes of sexuality, gender, relationships, identity, orientation, and love a place to showcase and create their work. This 6000+ square foot space in Pioneer Square spans 2 floors. The ground floor Gallery is fully accessible. There is a 3″ lip at the front entry and a ramp is available upon request. The lower level Studio is currently only accessible by stairs. We encourage the use of public transit or rideshare. Forr more information about the space, go to: https://www.pan-eros.org/galleryerato/ COVID Precautions As per King County guidelines, all attendees must present a valid vaccination record or negative test results within 72 hours of the event start time. Wash your hands frequently, keep your distance whenever possible, wear masks if you’re not modeling, and consider your COVID precautions when sharing gear.
