Seattle Creative Ropetastic Unconference Extravganza! Graydancer started hosting Graydancer’s Ropetastic Unconference Extravaganza’s many years ago , and like all good things that has been on a very long hiatus. Seattle was one of the cities that hosted this amazing event. Planning for another unconference is starting… BUT most importantly you can’t have a GRUE without Graydancer. So with his blessing.. we will be having a S.C.R.U.E.!!   Purchase tickets here! What is an Unconference? Ever gone to event and skipped most of the classes, but you end up learning a ton and having a great time anyway? You spent class time chatting in the hall way with other people discussing stuff that was not on the class lists or at a different level than what was being presented. Maybe you even went so far as to find the open play space and try out / demo the stuff you were talking about. You spent your time having hall way moments… Now imagine if you could have had a sign up over your heads “We are chatting about frictions and tensions in rope” , “New ways to connect during a flogging scene” or what ever your topic of the moment was.. Now others could join in.. Next thing you know you have a class / discussion going on that is as deep and intense as any class going on at the event. It was those hall way moments that were the inspiration for the unconference format. Hear more about the unconference format here! At the minimum proof of vaccination at door will be required. Be prepared for the requirement of wearing masks. We plan to err on the more cautious side of COVID protocols while still trying to be able to hold an event. If someone who buys a ticket ends up not being able to attend due to COVID, they will be given a refund.
