[Consent Academy] Consent & Leadership: The Problems, Difficulties, & Challenges
Consent is complicated and full of the unexpected. Consent Incidents, even more so. There seems to always be something surprising, dismaying, or both. After years of consent work, we’ve built quite a database of ways things can go wrong. Join us for a look at things that go sideways and what you can do about them.
This workshop provides a look at difficult and challenging situations that come up around consent. Using scenarios and discussion we’ll look at common issues and how to solve them from a leadership perspective. Lots of space will be given for participants to ask questions and bring up their own concerns.
Class Format:
- Video class with Workbooks for you to watch and follow on your own to learn about and familiarize yourself with the required concepts. The videos are included in the ticket price. You will receive links for them by email.
- There will be an on-line quiz to confirm you did watch and absorb the information from the videos. This should be taken prior to the group workshops.
- Interactive Skills Workshop (via Zoom) for you to come together with other participants to learn and practice the skills discussed in the videos. You need to watch the associated videos prior to the workshop.
